“Sellblock,” the star-studded upcoming prison drama series, has released its exciting first look images.

Manila-based production company BlackOps Studios Asia shared a Facebook album of stills from the show.

Lead star Jericho Rosales can be seen wearing a bright orange prison uniform in intense scenes in jail. Meanwhile, the late Jaclyn Jose is dressed in a police uniform.

More stars include the late Michael De Mesa, Empoy Marquez, Ronnie Lazaro, Mon Confiado, Sylvia Sanchez, Ria Atayde, and Soliman Cruz.

“Sellblock” was presented at Cannes in April at MIPTV, an annual event that gathers producers, distributors, and buyers from all around the world “to connect, commission and discover new series and projects for all genres and screens,” according to its website.

The show follows one of Asia’s biggest drug empires, which happens to operate from inside a Philippines maximum-security prison.

Jericho told Deadline it “is more than just a series.” He said, “It’s an immersive experience that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Working alongside such a talented team has been an absolute privilege, and I can’t wait for viewers to see the magic we’ve created.”

It is produced by Manila-based BlackOps Studios Asia headed by Pedring Lopez, who also directed all eight episodes of the first season. The series is slated for a three-season run.
